
Introduction
Eight influential Chinese overseas returnees, including Wang Boming, Tian Suning, Wang Huiyao, Tang Min, Li Shan, Wang Weijia, Zhao Min and Fu Jun, established China Western Returned Scholars Association, Chamber of Commerce (WRSACC) 2005 Committee at Beijing Changan Club on November 20th, 2005. The prospect for the committee is to become a high-level platform in exchange and liaison; an advanced non-governmental think tanks and a bridge in communication between China and aboard. The committee provides a platform for Chinese oversea returnees to exchange and communicate; acts as a bridge connecting the East and the West, gives international vision and constructive ideas for the development of China in transition with the insights of high level members. Also, the committee acts as the advanced and infusive think tanks of non-governmental for the development of country, society and enterprises.
Taking the fine tradition of Western Returned Scholars Association, 2005 Committee, affiliated to the Western Returned Scholars Association Chamber of Commerce (WRSACC), has attracted voluntary participation of more than 100 elites of domestic business and academic circles and Chinese overseas returnees within less than two years. The internal organization of the committee, as well as its decision-making and executive capacity, has been gradually improved. The operational model of good service for directors, and coordination and communication of the directors have been set up within the organization. For the outside of the organization, the interchange channels for communication with WRSAthe ministries and departments of the state have been cleared up and a sound social relationship with media, communities and other organizations has been established.
To merge the East and the West for the rejuvenation of the nation; To bear the world in mind for the advancement of the country.
The members of 2005 Committee, gathering together with the strong sense of bot social responsibility and their mission, have now become the highest-level social organization of Chinese overseas returnees in the form of think tanks and communication group, the most attractive elite organization of domestic Chinese overseas returnees.
