Li Hong has 9 years of experience with the government and 16 years with private sectors. With a background and special expertise in strategy development, strategic communications public affairs and regulatory issues consulting, brand consult and marketing, he is also instrumental in growing the firm’s public affairs and government relations strengths in China.Previously, as a founder and first managing director of Ogilvy & Mather Public Relations in Beijing and later Managing Director of its advertising agency, Li Hong serviced a portfolio of corporate clients including Kodak, IBM, American Express, Allianz, National Semiconductor, BMW, China Mobile, and China Netcom, among many others, providing consul in integrated communication campaigns. He is also well experienced in the area of crisis and issues management and training in China for Bass Brewery, Nokia, IBM, Unilever, American Express, Mead Johnson, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and Pepsi Cola between 1993 and 2002.Starting with Fleishman-Hillard China in 2002, Li Hong has developed many new clients to be added into the client portfolio of FH in China including Mercedes-Benz,TCL, P&G Olay, Siemens Medical Solutions, Brilliance Auto, Volkswagen, Ricoh, Omega, Sinolink, Oracle, Singapore Tourism Board, among others.
