Musica Salon in Midsummer—Conversation of the Two Musicians:Yu Long and Chen Qigang
On September 6, 2009, 2005 Committee hold a musica salon in No.8 Royal Park, which is a friendly private compound which is surrounded by woods of about 400,000 m2.
This salon is led by Yu Long, the member of 2005 Committee and the artistic director & principal conductor of China Philharmonic Orchestra and Chen Qigang, the famous Composer and Director of music for the Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony. The topic of the two musicians shared with the guests is the development of chinese music in the world. They reviewed the developing history of chines music during the recent 100 years and compared of the status of East and Western music. The guests also enjoyed You and I and other famous works selected by Mr. Chen Qigang.
Almost one hundred guests joined this salon. A wondful party!
